Galdrastafir (Magic Staves)
Galdrastafir is Icelandic for "magic staves" (sigils or symbols). They are a form of folk magic, combining runic traditions, Norse mythology and medieval occultism to create symbols for protection, luck, love and all kind of curses or lift of curses.
Some of the most well-known examples include Vegvísir (for guidance when traveling) and Ægishjálmur or the helmet of Ægir (for protection and strength in battle).
Every piece is handpicked locally and handcrafted in Iceland, each stone is truly unique, and carefully selected for its character.

These are bigger and heavier rocks than the rune stones, mostly granite and lava. Some stones may feature unique and rare natural patterns, including jasper-like textures or fossil-like markings, based on visual identification (not lab tested).
Info about size and weight is labelled on each picture.
